What's New with JReview®
Major Enhancements to JReview® v8.0

  • New JReview SSL over port 443 support:  From JReview 8.0.3 it is possible to host JReview SSL limiting use to ports 80 (HTTP port) and 443 (HTTPS port).  This configuration requires use of two servers in the DMZ (one server running JAS and a Web Server running HTTP & HTTPS).  A big advantage of this configuration is that it is likely no firewall or proxy changes are required on host or client sides.
  • Better SQLServer and SAS data-source compatibility.  SAS Drug Development database (SASDD / webdav) and interface/portal integration.
  • Secure JReview (SSL) now uses 128-bit encryption if available.
  • First phase of JReview Authoring features have been completed.
  • Scheduling and review of saved/scheduled output.
  • Viewing and printing of interactive Graphical Patient Profiles, Formatted Patient Profiles, and Patient Data Visit reports is supported.
  • Added & refined Java Webstart deployment mode.  For many installations, JReview deployed using Java Webstart has several advantages over our JReview deployed as Applet mode.
Added Date Popup for Defined Parameter and SAS Parameter Dialog date fields.
  • JReview can recover from mid-session communication problems (offering reconnect option which reactivates desktop in place).
  • Export for PDF outputs.  JReview now supports exporting of PDF-style reports, etc.
  • Output filter access.
